Election 2016 : Gun Control Takes It On The Chin
Article first appeared at Ammo Land.
Virginia – -(Ammoland.com)- Hillary ran on a platform of gun control:
Universal background checks, magazine bans, semi-automatic firearms bans, allowing gun manufacturers to be sued, gun rights lost by being on a non-adjudicated terrorist watchlist, and more.
She didn’t return Virginia Citizens Defense League’s Candidate Survey.
Trump ran on national concealed carry reciprocity, no magazine or semi-automatic bans, putting in Supreme Court Justices that follow the Constitution, and more.
Trump returned Virginia Citizens Defense League’s Candidate Survey with a 100% score.
America has chosen and that choice was to repudiate gun control and to support protection AND expansion of our right to keep and bear arms!
But we have much to do here in Virginia. We have a governor who opposes our gun rights and an electorate that gave a 4% edge to Hillary.
We must have a strong presence in Richmond to make sure this state never becomes another Maryland.
Lobby Day is January 16, 2017 at 8:30 AM at the General Assembly in Richmond. Mark your calendars, get that day off if you don’t already have it off (it’s a holiday), and be a part of the fight for our rights!
Oh, and if you live in Northern Virginia, reach out to your neighbors and anyone else that you can. Invite them to come shooting with you. We need to build a lot of bridges up there.
By doing so, it will help insure that our right to keep and bear arms is protected.
