XS Sights Sponsors 6th Annual Meals On Wheels Clay Shoot

The holiday season is a time of visits with family, friends and festive gatherings complete with elaborate dinners. Most of us take the full bellies for granted, but not everyone experiences that warmth. Many of our nation’s elderly, homebound and disabled don’t get nutritious meals now, or throughout the rest of the year. Their loved ones they relied on have passed away, others often live too far away, and some can’t get out of the house easily, if at all. It’s a plight often overlooked, even ignored.

The tragedy hasn’t escaped the notice of one of the firearm industry’s finest, though. Again this year XS Sights stepped up to the plate as a Presenting Sponsor of the 6th Annual Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County Clay Shoot. Money raised is already making a difference and providing a boost at this critical time.

The event took place on Nov. 1 at Defender Outdoors in Fort Worth, Texas. Money raised will provide home-delivered meals and other vital services to food-insecure in the area. A friendly face at the door is an added bonus. Visitors, even for a few moments, are scarce for some.

“Team XS is honored to again sponsor the Tarrant County Meals on Wheels Annual Clay Shoot Fundraiser,” said Kellie Brunn, co-owner of XS Sights, before the event. “To celebrate all the hard work our team has put in delivering weekly meals to the homebound in our community, we will spend the afternoon in some friendly competition.”

XS Sights has been a sponsor of the friendly competition since its inception and is dedicated to supporting the Meals on Wheels organization and the citizens it serves. Each Wednesday throughout the year, a team of two from XS deliver meals in the company’s local area.

“The trust our customers and partners place in us as The Night Sight Company allows us the opportunity to support this cause that I am so very passionate about,” Brunn said. “On behalf of Team XS, thank you.”
