The U.S. Supreme Court agreed to hear a Second Amendment challenge to a gun control law for the first time in nearly 10 years. Arguments in the case will likely be heard during the court’s next term, which starts in October.

In addition to the egregious comprehensive firearm ban introduced in the Illinois state Senate, anti-gun bills have been introduced in the state House of Representatives as well.

It is ironic and shameful that Pittsburgh’s mayor and city council would exploit a horrendous crime committed within their city to claim their own conscience-based exemptions from the law. This creates a terrible dilemma for the city’s law-abiding residents, stuck between violent criminals on the one hand and lawless public officials on the other.

Anti-gun bills will be heard on January 21st at 10:00AM by the Washington state Senate Committee on Law & Justice and by the House Committee on Civil Rights & Judiciary on January 22nd at 10:00AM.

The deranged killer who murdered an innocent California police officer had his guns confiscated months prior to the murder, but the law did not stop this criminal from getting a gun.

Any senator who cares anything about the Second Amendment will oppose Barr’s confirmation.

Who really are the extremists in the debate over firearms? Those who defend rights protected by the U.S. Constitution? Or, is it the people who propose legislation that would eviscerate those rights and try to shame crime victims for defending their lives?

We have been warning about the coming onslaught of national gun control proposals from congressional Democrats. Now that it is upon us, it is more important than ever before that gun owners remain focused and united in fighting for our rights.

Don’t be surprised if there is not another rope-a-dope with Barr to get “conservatives” to support him for some other reason other than he is constitutionally qualified, just like they did in the Kavanaugh hearings.

While the New Mexico Legislature will not convene for its 60-day Regular Session until January 15, anti-gun lawmakers who support Bloomberg’s radical gun control agenda have already started pre-filing unprecedented attacks on your Second Amendment rights.
