Federal agencies in the hands of big pharmaceutical companies, and politicians using gun control to give a false hope to the American people, distracts them from the real cause of the current state of the nation and the frequency of mass shootings.

If society is honest and historically accurate, the only question that has any relevance to the gun control debate is this: “Do you trust those in government, now and forever in the future, to not take your life, liberty, or property through the force of government?”If the answer to that question is “No”, the gun control debate is over.

We have been warning about the coming onslaught of national gun control proposals from congressional Democrats. Now that it is upon us, it is more important than ever before that gun owners remain focused and united in fighting for our rights.

According to a Gallup poll conducted earlier this month, gun control and guns rank at the very bottom of the list of what adults say is the country’s top problem – coming in at three percent.

There can be no sense of complacency, as gun control activists have been quietly building the infrastructure necessary to move with lightning speed whenever an exploitable tragedy presents itself. They will certainly be ready for any chance they can get, which means pro-gun Americans must remain equally ready to oppose them.

Not only is a national gun registry a priority for gun control advocates generally, as former Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agent and current Giffords Senior Policy Advisor David Chipman made clear to The Hill this week, it is an explicit policy priority for Giffords.

Since the Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land, and since the Second Amendment declares that the right of the people to keep and bear arms “shall not be infringed,” gun control measures ARE NOT law.

All these “gun control laws” will not ensure public safety one bit, but they are used as a political agenda to infringe on the rights of the people they swore an oath to serve faithfully and lawfully.

While Killer Mike seems very intelligent and like he has a command of the facts when it comes to guns and the history of gun control laws, he is completely misguided on the topic of police violence in the black community.
