The 19-year old had committed no crime, had no criminal record and was trying to call his mom when police decided to shoot him.

Hopefully, this case will result in a huge change in school policy that leaves its students to be victims for the next mass shooter, or God forbid, the next time the government brings guns on campus.

If President Trump supports them, it is likely he could get a Republican Senate to go along with them.

The primary difference between the rifles is the caliber. The AR-10 is chambered for the .308 Winchester or 7.62x51mm NATO. The AR-15 chambers the .223 Remington or 5.56mm NATO cartridge.

In talking with regular people in Europe, it’s clear there are many who envy our country for the freedoms so many of us take for granted. And if there is one thing they’d like us to take away from their experiences, it’s to never let so-called “progressive” incrementalism nibble away at those freedoms.

“I do believe, because in this Congress…there is bipartisan legislation to have common sense background checks to prevent guns going into the wrong hands. It doesn’t cover everything, but it will save many lives,” Pelosi said on CNN’s “Cuomo Prime Time.” It will do no such thing.

As Democrats dance toward the 2020 presidential elections, it’ll be interesting to see if anyone can go further toward the anti-gun side than Newsom, who seeks to push the numerous restrictive gun laws that have so badly hurt the Second Amendment in California on the rest of the nation’s gun owners.

California, you have your representatives to thank for this by making YOU a soft target everywhere you go.

If they can make the Second Amendment too burdensome,  they calculate that the large voting bloc of law-abiding gun owners will shrink. That would then allow them to further restrict Americans’ right to bear arms.

Between now and the November election, expect the rhetoric to intensify. All it takes is money, and the gun prohibitionists have plenty of that.
