BUMP STOCK CASE GAINS MOMENTUM AS EIGHTEEN ATTORNEYS GENERAL SUBMIT BRIEF
Springfield, VA – Attorneys General from eighteen states have filed an amicus brief in GOA v Garland. This case represents the legal challenge launched by Gun Owners of America (GOA) and Gun Owners Foundation (GOF) against the bump stock ban imposed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
GOA v Garland is gaining support and momentum, as others in the pro-Second Amendment community, such as the NRA, recently joined the case. GOA and GOF Senior Vice President Erich Pratt stated:
GOA v. Garland could be one of the most consequential Second Amendment cases since the Heller and McDonald decisions. Gun owners nationwide should be grateful to the eighteen attorneys general who are taking a stand for their right to keep and bear arms.
