Preview: Samson Black A-TM And B-TM Folding Stocks
Duplicating the design used on factory folding-stock Ruger Mini-14 and AC-556 rifles, Samson Mfg. collaborated with Ruger a few years ago to introduce its A-TM folder—so named as a tribute to the popular ’80s television show “The A Team.” Now the stock is available in a black-finish for both the centerfire Mini-14/Mini Thirty and as the B-TM for the rimfire 10/22.
The stock is constructed of dark-stained walnut and stainless steel and features a simple hinge mechanism activated by a push button and a folding buttplate that locks to the fore-end. The A-TM fits 181-prefix and newer rifles, and the B-TM fits all 10/22s with standard-contour barrels, but not the Takedown.
Each model weighs approximately 4 lbs., and length of pull is 13½” for the A-TM and 12¾” for the B-TM. MSRP is $325 and $300, respectively. For more information, please visit samson-mfg.com.
