Major institutions across the U.S. are taking a stand in the debate over gun control. Many gun control advocates believe this is a great move by American corporations. But what does it mean when corporations are punishing customers for behavior that is not illegal? Could these businesses become moral police?

Some folks in the US who want to do away with the Second Amendment are probably saying smugly, “Well, knife attacks are bad, but only people with GUNS can kill dozens of victims quickly.” Those folks would be wrong.

And what about the reputations of colleges or businesses? Good luck submitting your college applications or resumes. At least faced with actual threats of violence in Florida: You 19-year-old plaintiffs can arm yourselves… No, wait, you can’t.

Propaganda isn’t new to politicians, but it’s nice to have confirmed what most of us already know: gun control is literally being pushed on us by using emotional brainwashing. Obama advisers sought to “tap people’s emotions” for a huge gun-control push after the Sandy Hook shooting.

Here is history lesson 101: America’s founding forefathers sent the message loud and clear that crimes (1 John 3:4) will not be tolerated, and justice deters crime.
