In what may signal a growing trend among major polymer holster and accessory manufacturers, Blackhawk has launched a new custom Kydex holster and accessory program on its website. With a wide variety of colors, graphics and other features available, it’s a great option if you have enthusiast on your holiday shopping list and don’t want that special gift to fall victim to this year’s extended delays.

Through the new program, which is exclusive to the Blackhawk website, consumers can choose either inside-the-waistband (IWB) or outside-the-waistband (OWB) Kydex holster models, as well as custom EDC dump trays and magazine carriers for both pistol and rifle. The online instructions make it easy to tailor the form and function of a holster to meet exact specifications.

For IWB holsters, the program allows customization of holsters for guns from Beretta, Canik, CZ, FN, Glock, HK, Kimber, Poly80, Ruger, SCCY, SIG Sauer, Smith & Wesson (M&P), Springfield, Taurus and Walther. For OWB you’ll find options for Glock, Poly80, Smith & Wesson M&Ps, Springfield and SIG Sauer pistols. Holsters for 1911s are available in both inside and outside the waistband models.

Right-, left- and ambidextrous versions are available, with and without optics. Color choices are daunting. There are18 from which to choose, and the front can be different tone than the back. The finish can be standard or carbon-fiber look (Boltaron), but there are also camo and specialty patterns.

Blackhawk’s custom Kydex holsters are manufactured in the United States and are ready to ship within three business days. Each holster is constructed from heavy-mil 0.08″ thick Kydex and feature an undercut trigger guard to prevent interference with presentation. An over-cut open face accommodates threaded barrels and clears suppressor height sights.

The program also allows customization of EDC dump trays, pistol magazine carriers, AR rifle magazine carriers and AK rifle magazine carriers.
