On Tuesday, Joe Biden fired acting ATF Director Marvin Richardson after a NY Times report indicated Richardson was far too “industry-friendly.”

Biden replaced him with left-wing, anti-gun U.S. Attorney Gary Restiano, who’s wife worked for former DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano during the ATF’s “Fast & Furious” gun-smuggling scandal over a decade ago.

Word on Capitol Hill is that the White House and Senate Democrats want Dettelbach’s hearings to take place in the next few weeks, and confirmed within a month.
