Fiocchi USA Earns ISO Certification for North American Facilities
Fiocchi, a global leader in defensive, target, and hunting ammunition, has received ISO 9001:2015 certification for its North American headquarters in Ozark, Mo. The company had embarked on a two-year, companywide initiative to reach the prestigious standing, and reached the goal earlier this month.
The certification is the global standard for authenticating a company’s quality management system. It covers a variety of functions, including customer focus, upper-level management practices, continual improvement processes to ensure quality products that meet industry standards and delivery of optimal customer service. Third-party evaluation and accreditation verified that Fiocchi meets all requirements of this ISO standard.
“Since 2020, the entire Fiocchi of America (FOA) team has been working towards ISO certification,” said Jared Smith, general manager, Americas. “The journey involved development of documentation and the learning of a new process by every employee. To pass the certification, FOA had to undergo a Stage 1 and a Stage 2 audit by an outside third party. FOA passed with flying colors with zero nonconformances. This achievement would have been impossible without the teamwork and effort of every employee.”

FOA has been based in Ozark, MO, since 1983. It manufacturers ammunition for a variety of enthusiasts, including world-class competitive shooters, discerning hunters and defense professionals. The company recently established a new, independent manufacturing operation in Little Rock, AR. The new state-of-the-art facility expands the company’s manufacturing capability and supports its recent acquisition of famed shotshell manufacturer Baschieri & Pellagri.
