Halbrook Explains the Bruen Decision
The U.S. Supreme Court recently ruled 6-3 in New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen. This decision recognizes that the Second Amendment of the U.S. Bill of Rights means it when it says “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
“This is a ruling that will reverberate across the ‘land of the free and the home of the brave,’ as Francis Scott Key so well put it in what became our national anthem,” wrote America’s 1st Freedom Editor in Chief Frank Miniter at the time.
The impacts of this landmark decision are already being felt and that’s why America’s 1st Freedom sat down to speak with Stephen Halbrook to better understand the Bruen decision. Halbrook has won Second Amendment cases in the Supreme Court and is the author of multiple books, including The Right to Bear Arms: A Constitutional Right of the People or a Privilege of the Ruling Class?
