Preview: Trijicon Dual Defense Kit
Pairing a micro red-dot (MRD) with a set of suppressor-height irons provides an easy backup sighting solution for defensive pistols, and Trijicon now offers such a complete sighting system in its Dual Defense Kit. Designed to fit most popular Glock and SIG Sauer models, the kit includes Trijicon’s RMR Type 2 Adjustable MRD and a set of the company’s Bright & Tough Night Sights.
The LED-illuminated optic is available with either a 3.25- or 6.5-m.o.a. dot and includes an automatic brightness mode and a simple push-button adjustment system to manually select between eight brightness settings. The Bright & Tough sights include tritium lamps front and rear for low-light aiming, while white rings encircling each lamp aid in obtaining a sight picture during daylight.
