Citigroup is setting restrictions on the sale of firearms by its business customers, making it the first Wall Street bank to take a stance in the divisive nationwide gun control debate.

Gun owners don’t expect Time writers to become their cheerleaders overnight; they just want a fair shake, and they got it. Playing on a slanted field has left them jaded, but the members of the DC Project all expressed relief and gratitude at Time’s final product.

People who blame the gun over the killer aren’t looking for real solutions. They’re simply furthering an agenda.

Permitting government officials to make the exercise of one constitutional right contingent upon relinquishing the right to exercise another would destroy the protections guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and enjoyed by everyone. Blinded by their hatred for the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms, anti-gun advocates appear willing to burn down the entire Bill of Rights along with it.

Speaking of the millennial generation, The Washington Post branded their support for gun rights as “mysterious,” acknowledging that it “does not bode well for liberals hoping that the arc of history will eventually bend toward greater gun control.”

Rather than replace a few perfectly good toys, these anti-gun extremists could help provide the entire country what it wants for Christmas, a short respite from the ceaseless political strife, if only they could manage to curb their intolerance for a few brief moments this year.

Under the Democrats’ plan, a background system like that in California would require a gun seller to seek government permission for any sale or transfer of a firearm. Such a system was put in place in California in the early 1990s and has failed to prevent some of our nation’s most heinous mass public attacks. Meaning this bill is not about “curbing gun violence,” it’s about controlling the tax cattle.

The main take-away from all of this is – in order to implement a socialist government, the people have to be disarmed so the government can rob the people of their property.

Passing these laws and eliminating our rights to due process is a clear violation of the constitution let alone giving the attorney general the power to fund it with our money. People need to awaken to the fact that Democrats and Republicans are uniting on this issue and in the event any of these laws pass it will be under the guise of bringing the country together to make us all safer.
