An alleged robber was killed outside of an apartment in Houston, Texas, after he and an accomplice pulled a woman out of her pickup truck and held guns to her head, according to local police.
The woman and her male friend were returning home to the apartment complex after having dinner together. The man left the vehicle and headed to his apartment on an upper level. The woman was preparing to leave when her truck was approached by two armed men. The men pulled her out of the pickup truck and aimed their guns at her. The man in the upstairs apartment heard the incident unfolding, grabbed a gun, went outside and opened fire on the alleged robbers, striking one.

The robber hit by the man’s gunfire died at the scene, while the other fled. Police are still attempting to identify the second suspect. (ABC13; Houston, Texas; 1/6/24)

Floored by the fists of a would-be robber, San Francisco bar owner Ralph Chiappetta was ordered by the thug to hand over his money. As the bandit rifled the cash register, Chiappetta got his .32-cal. semi-automatic pistol and started firing. The robber staggered out and fell dead with four bullets in him. (Oakland Tribune)
