Bergara B-14 Timber Bolt-Action Rifle
Article first appeared at American Rifleman.
Bergara has become one of the most well-known and respected barrel makers worldwide, building its Spanish-made, precision barrels for many top U.S. and European rifle manufacturers. Now the company is offering its own bolt-action rifle—the B-14 Timber—to the consumer market. Imported by Bergara USA‘s parent company, BPI Outdoors, the Performance Series B-14 Timber features Bergara’s proprietary premium action, barrel and oil-finished walnut stock.
The rifle’s 4140 chromoly steel barrel has undergone a proprietary honing process to guarantee sub-m.o.a. accuracy with factory match-grade ammunition, and is finished in a matte blue. The action also features a coned bolt nose and breech to ease lockup and ensure smooth feeding. A bolt guide is used to eliminate binding.
