Hi-Point’s handguns have a reliability-to-price-point ratio that’s hard to beat. This year, the company joins the growing 10 mm Auto handgun market with the release of the JXP 10. Available for a suggested price of $225, it’s among the least expensive options in this chambering.

Assembled by a U.S. workforce using American-made components, the JXP 10 accepts the same single-stack, 10-round magazines as the company’s 1095 carbine. Updated features have been lifted from the 9 mm YC9 pistol, including a beveled slide, a Glock-compatible removable front sight, an integral accessory rail and a re-contoured grip frame with enhanced texturing.

Employing the same simple blowback action as previous models, this pistol relies on a heavy slide that gives it an unloaded weight of 49 ozs. The JXP 10 will be available with either an unthreaded 4.5″ or a threaded 5.2″ barrel.
