Editor’s Choice: Patriot Ordnance Factory Tombstone
Patriot Ordnance Factory has released its thoroughly modernized interpretation of the lever-action platform, which it has dubbed the Tombstone. This carbine satisfies the growing popularity of both tactical lever guns and 9 mm Luger pistol-caliber carbines (PCC) in the same slim, handy package.
The 16.5″, free-floating, fluted, 4150-steel barrel is fitted with a removable dual-port muzzle brake. The aluminum receiver is topped with a Picatinny scope rail and an XS Ghost Ring rear sight. The blade front sight is mounted to one of the two forward accessory rails found on the vented 10.5″ M-Lok aluminum handguard.
A flat-faced, 3-lb., 8-oz., single-stage trigger is paired with an oversized lever loop for easy operation. Magpul’s polymer SGA 870 shoulder stock contributes to the rifle’s comfortable handling and an unloaded weight of 5 lbs., 12 ozs.
