Sightmark expands its micro red-dot optic lineup with the introduction of the RMR-footprint Mini Shot M-Spec M2 Solar. Designed for defensive pistols chambered in cartridges up to .45 ACP, the Mini Shot’s lenses are encased in a square-profile, black-anodized 6061-T6 aluminum housing.

The 3-m.o.a. red-dot reticle features automatic brightness adjustments for varying light conditions. An integrated solar panel and a single CR1632 button-cell battery provide more than 20,000 hours of run time between battery changes.

This optic qualifies for an IP67 rating, meaning it’s waterproof to three feet for up to one hour. It arrives with a low-profile mount, an AR-riser mount and a battery for a suggested retail price of $360.

Sightmark also offers the M3 version of the Mini Shot M-Spec sized for Shield RMSc-compatible slide cutouts.
