AG Composites is now offering a line of composite rifle stocks for shooters and hunters who are looking for a high-end aftermarket rifle stocks like those used by high-level precision competitors. While most of the stocks they sell are inletted for the venerable Remington 700 pattern action, AG Composites can accommodate other actions like the Winchester or Weatherby actions.

When it comes to bolt-action rifle shooting, stocks made from composite or synthetic materials inherently resistant to natural elements like heat, humidity or the cold. Because of this, they mitigate precision or accuracy issues that affect rifle precision and performance due to the wood in a traditional rifle stock which does react to the environment.

“At AG Composites, we design and manufacture advanced composite rifle stocks for both hunters and the world’s top shooters,” said Matt Tandy, AG Composites owner. “As a veteran-owned company that employs dozens of U.S. military vets, we know how important it is to make that first shot count. Our company is built on technology using modern design software from Solidworks and AutoDesk to create Computer Aided Design (CAD) models of every stock we manufacture,” Tandy continued. “We only use the highest-quality carbon fiber, epoxy, and paint products and a proprietary manufacturing process that is the ‘secret sauce’ behind our ability to produce best-in-class stocks with delivery times that are a fraction of our competitors. At the same time, 90 percent of the work on an AG Composite stock is hands-on craftmanship. The end result is a rifle stock that becomes the bedrock of the most accurate rifles in the world.”
