EOTech has a new first focal plane scope that provides up to 10x magnification. Called the Vudu 1-10×28 mm riflescope, the optic is designed for close to medium range targets with a variable magnification. The magnification of the scope is adjusted using a quick throw lever that allows the shooter to adjust to changing circumstances.

EOTech offers three reticle options for this scope: the SR-4, SR-5 and the LE-5. All are illuminated via battery power. EOTech designed the scope with external controls that allow the shooter to quickly activate or shut off the illuminated reticle. Further, the shooter can adjust the brightness across 10 different settings.

Turrets have a re-indexing feature that allows the shooter to return the scope to a known zero in the field. Depending on the reticle selected, turret adjustments are made in either 0.25 MOA or 0.1 MIL increments. Both turrets have features to reduce the likelihood of accidentally changing the point of aim.

This Vudu scope is designed to be water-resistant, using a single-piece aluminum 34 mm tube with heavy-duty O-ring seals to help prevent intrusion of water and other substances. Additionally, the company nitrogen purges the scope to prevent fogging. The XC high-density glass lenses are coated with anti-reflective coatings to provide excellent edge clarity and light transmission.

The entire package is shockproof, and a shooter can expect that these scopes will be excellent performers on any modern sporting rifle. The total weight of the scope is 21.3 ounces without mounting rings.

The suggested retail price of the Vudu 1-10×28 scope is $1,799. Included with the scope is a single CR2032 battery, quick throw lever, lens cleaning cloth and manuals for the reticle and scope. EOTech backs the scope with its “No BS Warranty.” More information on this scope and other products from EOTech is available at eotech.com.
