First Look: Hogue Wrapter Adhesive Firearm Grip

Pinterest WhatsApp

Hogue Inc. has engineered an innovative, thin, grip solution for polymer frame pistols, the new Wrapter Adhesive Firearm Grip. This new line of grip improvement products uses the same precision fit standards as the company’s OverMolded rubber grips.

Previously, in order to increase grip and performance, shooters have had to resort to custom stippling. This process of selectively removing material from the frame of the gun to give a better grip can dramatically compromise the integrity of a firearm’s factory frame. Now, however, Hogue offers an effective alternative with its Wrapter adhesive system that will provide superior grip and hold while still preserving the original condition of the firearm.

Hogue grips are known for how they improve a shooter’s grasp on a gun. The Wrapter Adhesive Grips use a soft rubber material which mimics the feel of a Hogue rubber grip. Each Wrapter grip has been methodically designed to conform to the exact contours and unique features of some of the most popular polymer-frame pistols on the market today.

Thanks to its multi-piece outline, every Wrapter grip provides optimal coverage with minimal added bulk to your pistol. The grips provide a balance of sweat-resistant and non-irritational properties for a natural and comfortable grip experience, and the adhesive is designed to create a long-lasting bond when activated by heat, but can also be removed from the pistol without leaving a sticky residue behind.

Hogue Wrapter Grips have an MSRP of $14.95. For those seeking custom grip placement according to their personal preference, the adhesive grip line also includes a DIY solution with an MSRP of $9.95. Heavy grit options will also be available soon for people who demand a more aggressive grip solution for their pistol. More information on these grips and other products from Hogue is available at hogueinc.com.
