Oregon based Leupold And Stevens, Inc., one of the oldest and most established names in American shooting optics, is unveiling the newest member of its Mk5 riflescope product line: the Mk5 HD 2-10×30 mm riflescope. This new scope is available in one of three separate models (both in MOA and MRAD), and all will be built with First Focal Plane (FFP) based reticles. FFP reticles are not only a feature associated with premium optics, but practically an FFP reticle will grow and shrink in proportion to the scope’s zoom level. This also means that all subtensions and hold points remain accurate regardless of the magnification setting.

Because this new riflescope runs towards the more compact and lightweight side, it is ideal for mounting on lightweight and handy rifles of intermediate calibers such as hunting rifles with light-contour barrels, designated marksmen semi-automatic carbines, etc.
