A composite stock makes one of the top-shelf bolt action rifles even better.

JP Sauer und Sohn is now shipping their two new lightweight hunting rifles, the Sauer 100 LWT and Sauer 100 Pantera HS rifles, which are bedded from the factory on H-S Precision reinforced synthetic stocks.

The American made H-S Precision stock that ships with either of these rifles is made from composite materials for lightweight and rigidity. Besides the 7075 aluminum bedding block, H-S also uses kevlar, fiberglass and carbon materials throughout the stock. The stocks have a neutral cast making them suitable for both right or left shouldered shooters.

“We have paired German performance with American innovation in these new Sauer 100 models to offer hunters and shooters the best of both worlds when it comes to precision, accuracy and ergonomics,” said Jason Evans, CEO of Blaser Group.

Both the Sauer 100 and Pantera HS rifles are designed for precision hunters and shooters; these rifles are guaranteed to shoot 5 round sub MOA groups. The Sauer 100 LWT has an adjustable single stage trigger and three position safety. Additionally, the action is connected to a cold hammer forged Cerakoted Sauer barrel. The Sauer 100 Pantera HS, on the other hand, uses a fluted semi weight barrel with black Cerakote finish that is also threaded for suppressor use. All Sauer 100 rifles take Remington 700 Long Action bases.
