Viridian Weapon Technologies is now selling an E Series laser sight module that is compatible with the .22 caliber Heritage Rough Rider revolver.

The E Series Laser sight module is designed to mount to the trigger guard of specific handguns. Viridian’s latest model fits the single action Rough Rider revolvers which can generally fire .22 LR; .22 Long; .22 Short; or .22 Winchester Rimfire Magnum (WMR). These revolvers are patterned and styled like the single action pistols that become popular in the United States after the Civil War and throughout “Western expansion” era and the golden days of the cowboy. Attaching an aiming aid like the Viridian E Series laser to an a throwback to a bygone era such as the Rough Rider might seem strange, but a laser sight is a great way to help new shooters learn trigger control, and a rimfire revolver is an excellent gun for a beginning shooter.

“We’re bringing the thrill of the Heritage .22 to the next level with the Red E SERIES™ laser sight,” said Viridian President and CEO, Brian Hedeen. “Combining the old-fashioned feel of a revolver, with the most powerful red laser legally available, is a gamechanger and enhances the user experience. This has been a long time coming, we are proud of just how much fun our accessory adds.”

The E Series Laser Module for the Heritage rimfire revolvers retails for $130 and is backed by Viridian’s seven year warranty. It is easy to install onto the trigger guard and also has ambidextrous controls. The unit is also programmed with a 5-minute auto shut-off to conserve its battery life which has a 6 hour overall duration. The laser is visible up to 25 yards in daytime conditions and up to 1 mile at night.
