ZeroTech Optics, founded in Australia in 2018, it is a subsidiary of the largest optical supplier in the southern hemisphere. The company’s products are built from the ground up with the need to perform in the field, under harsh and varying conditions.

Now, ZeroTech Optics is coming out with its new Thrive HD First Focal Plane (FFP) series of riflescopes that are specifically designed for long-range, precision-rifle shooters who are looking for a scope with all-round usability. A first focal plane (FFP) scope has its reticle placed toward the front of the riflescope’s erector-tube assembly and magnification lenses. This, when used in conjunction with a calibrated reticle, allows the shooter to use the reticle to accurately judge distances to their target.

The LR Hunter is a true hybrid reticle. The combination of an FFP reticle and adjustable illumination enables the LR Hunter to mimic traditional reticles at low magnification. At higher powers, The LR Hunter Reticle offers shooters the precision they need to help connect with the farthest targets.

The Thrive HD FFP is available in models, a 4-16×44 mm scope and a 6-24×50 mm scope, both with the LR Hunter illuminated reticle.

Thrive HD FFP Features

  • FFP Illuminated glass etched reticle to facilitate precision at higher magnification and high speed at low magnification
  • 30mm One-piece tube
  • Push button illumination with memory function and auto off feature
  • Heavy Duty aluminum flip-up covers
  • Capped, high performance resettable turrets (0.1 MRAD)
  • 92% Light transmission
  • Weathershield lens coating

MSRP for either the 4-16×44 mm or 6-24×50 mm Illuminated FFP Hunter rifle scopes is $1,199, and more information on these optics and other products from ZeroTech is available at zerotechoptics.com.
