It was a busy and exciting start to the year in South Carolina, as NRA-ILA and the Second Amendment supporters in the state worked to push Constitutional Carry across the finish line! The South Carolina NRA-ILA Grassroots Team worked diligently to showcase the strength of grassroots power and hosted various events surrounding this historic effort. A successful series of NRA-ILA Legislative Update Meetings helped organize supporters, (a gracious “thank you” to our event venues: Bass Pro Shops- Greenville and Palmetto State Armory Outdoors). The multiple, open-house NRA 2A Days at various ranges, and virtual legislative update webinars helped create more awareness and outreach for the legislative effort. All of these grassroots efforts also helped drive our dedicated Second Amendment supporters to the state Capitol for even further support. All told, it was a comprehensive and exciting grassroots effort in the Palmetto State as it made history, and NRA is grateful for our members, supporters, and coalition partners in this victory!
