There is only one reason for Hillary Clinton even having a shot at the Oval Office, a Congress that has failed to indict her and see that she receive justice.  Yet, America is facing the very real possibility of Clinton entering the White House and more of her attacks on the Constitution and the rights of the people.  Last week in South Carolina, Clinton vowed more gun laws.

The Washington Times reports:

Tapping into lingering anguish from last year’s mass shooting at a black church in Charleston, South Carolina, Mrs. Clinton promised to carry on President Obama’s fight for expanded background checks to buy firearms.

“Imagine a tomorrow where we have common-sense gun safety measures that will save lives, that will protect Americans going about their daily business,” she told a crowd of supporters here at Cumberland United Methodist Church.

She told a story about an elderly brother and sister in South Carolina who were shot as they walked to a corner grocery store to buy a sandwich.

“What have we come to?” she asked.

As I’ve said before, there is no such thing as “common sense gun safety measures.”  There is only communist-style solutions to guns and that ultimately ends in gun confiscation.

While stories will pull at the heart strings of some bleeding heart liberals, those that stop to think about such stories should consider that the person that shot the elderly brother and sister, if the story is even true, should consider that the person who did the shooting apparently was not caught and still has his gun.  What do you think the proper response should be?  Should it not be that other Americans be armed and prepared to deal with the criminal element of society should they encounter them?  That, my friends, would be the “common sense” approach to the matter.

In pushing those “tougher” gun laws, which are really unconstitutional gun laws, Clinton said, “I’m really proud to stand with President Obama, and I’m really proud to stand with the progress he’s made.”

Once again, Clinton pledged to take on the gun lobby, which she says is the “most powerful lobby in Washington.”

She also took the time to employ the Charleston shooting to make her case.

“We need to close the gun show loophole, the online loophole and what is called the Charleston loophole, which my opponent supported, which means that at the end of three days, whether the background check is done or not, you get the gun,” Clinton said. “That’s what the killer here in Charleston did.”

The obvious problem with Clinton’s argument here is that those who were charged with conducting the background check failed miserably to do so.  That is the real issue.  Has anyone lost their job over the issue?  I doubt it.

Back in October, Clinton pushed some of the most radical gun control nonsense since the days she was in the White House with her husband Bill as president.

Communists like Saul Alinsky disciple Hillary Clinton just want to make whatever headway they can towards what they really want, full and utter gun confiscation.  Today, it’s “common sense” gun safety laws; tomorrow, it’ll be “Mr. & Mrs. America, turn ’em all in.”
