New For 2024: EAA Girsan MC9 Disruptor
European American Armory Corp. (EAA) used the recent National Sporting Good Wholesalers (NASGW) expo to unveil an expanded line-up of handguns from Turkish manufacturer Girsan, unabashedly declaring that the new models would “disrupt” the industry with their combination of features, quality and affordable price. The flagship of EAA’s power play is the aptly named MC9 Disruptor.
Girsan jumped into the highly competitive polymer framed, striker fired, 9 mm Luger handgun market in 2014 with the M28. Two years ago, the company added the optics-ready MC9, along with its “Fast Acquisition Red Dot (FAR-DOT) optics system.
The MC9 Disruptor has many standard features that were previously optional and comes in two unique Cerakote camo finish options.

Built around the basic architecture of the original MC9, the Disruptor comes standard with many features that were previously optional, including a 4.6” extended and threaded barrel and an optics-ready slide with a Shield RMSc footprint. Sights are low profile and use a three-dot system. The rear sight is removed with the optics plate, but EAA’s FAR-DOT has a built-in fiber-optic rear sight. The Disruptor uses a new “Enhanced Striker Trigger” system. It is available in two unique Cerakote finishes—a black camo and olive drab green camo.
Among the MC9 Disruptor’s features is an optics-mounting system that uses a Shield RMSc footprint.
The rest of the specs are standard for the MC9 series. The polymer frame has an accessory rail molded into the frame’s dust cover and comes with three backstrap inserts to customize the grip size, the slide release is bilateral, and the magazine release is reversible. Magazines are a 17-round detachable box. The pistol has an overall length of 7.9”, a height of 5.5” and weighs 22.4 ozs.
The EAA MC9 Disruptor has a MSRP of $394. For more information, visit eaacorp.com.
