Nearly one year after Russian-made imported AK-47 styled rifles were banned due to imposed sanctions by the Obama administration, Americans can now purchase the popular rifle.
“We have made good on the promise delivered at SHOT Show, to provide our customers with a quality product at a competitive price by the second quarter of this year,” Thomas McCrossin, CEO of Kalashnikov USA, said in a press release Tuesday.
The most poorly trained militia can become a deadly force when supplied with AK-47 rifles. The AK-47 is the world’s most abundant firearm with over 100 million produced.

As reported previously by Truth In Media, Mikhail Kalashnikov invented the weapon which helped many countries to fight for their independence. “I invented it for the protection of the motherland. I have no regrets and bear no responsibility for how politicians have used it,” said Kalashnikov. The famous Russian inventor Kalashnikov died this week at the age of 94.
