Preview: At The Front “Kirkman” M1907 Reproduction Sling
A manufacturer of World War II-era reproduction equipment, At The Front offers a number of newly made, period-correct firearm accessories. This includes a U.S.-made reproduction of the Model 1907 leather slings used on the M1903 Springfield and M1 Garand.
Marked “Kirkman 1942,” these slings are made from 1.25″ cowhide strips, finished in a light-colored tan just like original unissued slings. The sling uses World War II-style steel hooks, held in place with steel rivets. The straps also feature creased edges, as well as gang-punched holes, and are sewn together with linen thread.
