The Prime 1800 6×24 mm Laser Rangefinder from Bushnell gives users a compact and fast-acting rangefinding platform that is fully capable in all lighting conditions, thanks to the use of multi-coated optics with ultra-wide-band coatings. These coatings combine to provide true-to-life colors for enhanced outdoor viewing. The unit’s enlarged objective lens lends to improved low-light performance and increased image brightness.

Angle Range Compensation (ARC) allows the unit to account for the angle of the terrain, providing the true distance to the target on sharply inclined shots, while the EXO Barrier coating protects its 6X 24 mm lens from the elements. Programming Brush and Bullseye modes is a simple task that gives versatility to the unit—Brush mode ignores foreground objects such as grass and branches whereas Bullseye mode is destined for small targets with an uninterrupted view. Archers and riflemen alike will find dedicated settings for their respective tools along with ballistic data for distance compensation.

Bushnell includes its ActivSync feature built into its Prime 1800 that is programmed to automatically shift the color of its readout to best suit the ambient lighting conditions (black for bright conditions and red for dark) around the user. The unit’s built-in Scan mode gives processor range readings at four times per second for ultra-fast and reliable readouts.

A single CR2 battery is required for use. A tripod adapter is included with a carrying case, cord and lanyard tether. Bushnell’s pricing for its Prime 1800 6×24 mm Laser Rangefinder is $250.
