Preview: Holosun AEMS
Intended for use with long guns, the new Advanced Enclosed Micro Sight (AEMS) is a closed-emitter reflex sight from Holosun that takes advantage of many of the company’s premium features.
Although it has a side-mounted compartment for one CR2032 battery, the AEMS also employs a solar-powered backup system, giving the unit a run time of up to 50,000 hours from a single battery. The optic, which features a black-anodized 7075 aluminum housing, has three selectable reticle options: a 2-m.o.a. dot enclosed within a 65-m.o.a. circle, only the dot or only the circle—and both red- and green-LED versions are offered. An onboard sensor automatically activates the AEMS when it is moved, and the unit returns to the most recently used brightness setting.
