Scalarworks developed its Leap line of quick-detach optic mounts to be among the lightest yet strongest such products on the market—choosing to mill each unit from a billet of 7075-T6 aluminum—and the series includes more than a dozen variants, each of which is compatible with a different popular scope/red-dot mounting interface.

The Leap/04, which is available in three heights (1.42″, 1.57″, 1.93″) to accommodate a variety of cheek-weld preferences, is designed around Trijicon’s RMR footprint and adds only 1.66 ozs. to the weight of the gun.

Scalarworks’ ClickDrive mechanism allows the mount to be securely installed in seconds using only finger pressure, and the Leap/04’s forward lean provides additional room atop the receiver for the use of a coordinating magnifier.

MSRP is $159. For more information, visit scalarworks.com.
