A second-focal-plane, low-power variable optic designed for CMP Service Rifle and NRA High Power competition, Sightron’s S-TAC 1-4.5X 24 mm SR1 offers a host of useful features.

The 10.3″-long, 20.8-oz. scope’s multi-coated lens promote optimal light transmission and reduce flare, and its matte-black aluminum construction includes a nitrogen-purged 30 mm main tube that provides IPX 7-rated waterproofing, 1,000-G shockproofing and fogproofing to guard against harsh environmental conditions.

The S-TAC features tactical turrets with easy-to-read numbers and tactile, audible 1/4-m.o.a. ExacTrack click adjustments that span 100 m.o.a. of elevation and 60 m.o.a. of windage. Eye relief is 3.3″-3.9″, field of view is 23 to 110 feet at 100 yards, and parallax is set at 150 yards.

The company’s new SR1 reticle consists of a 9-m.o.a. circle surrounding a 1/2-m.o.a. aiming dot, and 1-m.o.a horizontal and lower vertical stadia lines guide the eye to the reticle’s center.

An instruction manual, 1.5 mm Allen key and lens cloth are included along with the company’s Lifetime Performance Guarantee. MSRP is $500. For more information, visit sightron.com.
