Designed for heavy-duty use, the dedicated Forward Controls Design Joint Castle Nut Wrench (JCW) is CNC-machined from a single piece of 4140 steel, heat-treated and topped with a black-oxide finish.

The JCW incorporates two AR-platform castle nut wrenches on either side, one with a conventional three-lug arrangement and the other with two lugs spaced 90 degrees apart. This smaller section makes it easier to tighten down castle nuts on top of endplates with extended QD swivel sockets. Between both wrench sections, the JCW also has an included 1/2″ drive cutout for a torque wrench. It’s relatively small at 3.5″ long and 1.84″ wide and weighs 3.14 ozs.

The suggested retail price on the tool is $35. For more information, visit forwardcontrolsdesign.com.
