Product Preview: MDT GRND-POD Bipod
Lightweight carbon-fiber legs, a 6061-T6 aluminum core and polymer buttons combine to make MDT’s GRND-POD—15.3 ozs. for the ARCA/RRS Dovetail version or 16.5 ozs. for the Picatinny model—one of the lighter bipod examples on the market.
It is also one of the company’s most economical. Features include: one-hand, rapid-deployment operation with independent leg adjustments; a cant range of 40 or 32 degrees, respectively, with adjustable tension; a height range from 4.5“ to 9“; and four locking leg positions (0, 50, 90 or 180 degrees).
