Two tragedies unfolded last night: one in Canada and one in Oklahoma. Only one of them was prevented from becoming worse, however, thanks to an armed citizen who stopped the killer in his tracks.

19 years old and plaintiffs in an NRA lawsuit about the U.S. Constitution. Unless there is reversal by the appellate court, everything about you – names, photos, addresses – will be on the internet. Didn’t you think this through? I mean, what about college or jobs? After all, NRA activists are security threats with the likely protests and violence from liberals. And what about the reputations of colleges or businesses? Good luck submitting your college applications or resumes. At least faced with actual threats of violence in Florida: You 19-year-old plaintiffs can arm yourselves… No, wait, you can’t.

If we are not careful, or if we do not employ reason to this argument, we will find ourselves in a nation where disagreeing with the “reasonableness” of common sense gun laws is seen as a reason to be red flagged.

Guns don’t kill people. Ideas, however, do. We can’t criminalize ideas, but the spectacle of the very corporations and media personalities who are causing these deaths lecturing us self-righteously on the need to give up the Bill of Rights is truly repugnant.

Senator Murphy is a spineless little man, but sadly, the people of Connecticut continue to re-elect such a man to office.  He is an ignorant, deceitful and conniving man who attacks the Second Amendment and the Constitution, thus attacking citizens of the united States. That’s more like treason to me, senator.

While Killer Mike seems very intelligent and like he has a command of the facts when it comes to guns and the history of gun control laws, he is completely misguided on the topic of police violence in the black community.

While the bill is not designed to arm teachers, it does recognize the right of gun owners to exercise that right while on campus.

It’s good to know that there are still some young people growing up in America that recognize the importance of the Second Amendment and are not intimidated enough to stand down when they should stand up.

New York’s long-established culture of corrupt and weaponized use of government power is a stain on the state, not something to be made official policy and extended to the country as an example to emulate.

Words have meaning.  Just like “assault rifle” was specifically defined according to the grade of the weapon and its function, so too is the Second Amendment’s clear command that the right of the people to keep and bear arms “shall not be infringed.”
