A hero security guard stopped a mass shooting with his legal gun, saving an untold number of lives and was holding the suspect at gunpoint when police showed up and killed him.

The Marine veteran who murdered 12 people in California this week had PTSD and was likely prescribed medications tied to most mass shootings.

Much of the fight on gun rights is happening in the states.

David Hogg was unavailable to comment on how he feels about the presence of armed Black Panther members campaigning for Stacey Abrams at the polls.

It is a fundamental necessity that the American people keep and bear arms. And bearing arms means carrying a firearm with you wherever you go. America’s most recent mass shooting serves as another exclamation point behind that statement.

Not only is a national gun registry a priority for gun control advocates generally, as former Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agent and current Giffords Senior Policy Advisor David Chipman made clear to The Hill this week, it is an explicit policy priority for Giffords.

Suffice to say that the Washington Post editorial board shamed itself not only with its opportunistic exploitation of tragedy to promote a political agenda, but by doing so with false, incomplete, and misleading information.

Whether this augurs a decline in David Hogg’s ability to influence outcomes in the non-virtual world remains to be seen. But it certainly gives him something to chew on in the meantime.

How much does California hate gun rights? Enough that the Los Angeles City Council unanimously approved a motion requiring that all contractors disclose their ties to the National Rifle Association when bidding on work.

It should be clear that criticism of the NRA is not restricted solely to hoplophobes and that there are indeed gun rights anti-NRA folks.  As for whose side the NRA is really on, I will leave that up to the reader.
