The Effingham County Board approved the resolution 8-1 on Monday which declares that they will not enforce gun laws that “unconstitutionally restrict the Second Amendment.”

There is no God-given “right” to graduate high school.  Education is not a right.  It is a privilege.  Some people get one while others do not.  It is encouraged but it does not trump the rights of law-abiding gun owners any more than those killed in mass shootings.

Americans may have all of the watches, but Islamic jihadis have all of the time.

Aidan Jackson, 15,  told WAVY, “When I saw the ‘March for Our Lives,’ I saw a lot of people for gun control. Not every youth believes that. Gun control is not the answer.”

“It seems like every time we have one of these shootings, nobody wants to put the blame where it goes, which is at the shooter’s feet. You want to put it at my feet. You want to turn around and restrict my rights.”

Many Americans believe that since Martin Luther King Jr. was such an outspoken advocate for peace that he chose not to practice his right to self-defense and own guns — this is wrong.
