An alleged home invader is in the hospital after breaking into an El Paso, Texas, home and shooting the resident’s dog on March 2, 2023.
Just before 9 a.m., the 29-year-old suspect forced his way into the house, finding three people and a dog inside the home. The invader fired at the dog, injuring it. A 37-year-old resident of the house then drew his own handgun and fired back at the alleged intruder, wounding him and causing him to flee the house.

The wounded burglar was found by police two miles away, yelling for help in the middle of an intersection. He’s currently hospitalized and faces pending charges of burglary of habitation. (KVIA, El Paso, Texas, 3/2/23)

When an armed youth wearing a ski mask attempted to rob Anthony Knable’s grocery store in Lebanon, Pa., the store owner pulled out a revolver and held the youth for police. A female accomplice was arrested later. (The Lebanon Daily News, Lebanon, Pa.)
