There is Talk of Civil War in “The Land of More Guns Than People” – Are You Ready to Start Shooting?

Editor’s Note:  Instead of letting criminal politicians like Maxine Waters and others, as well as the media, turn us against each other to the point of bloodshed, why don’t we demand that they are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law?  Specifically, let’s make an example of someone like Ms. Waters by not imprisoning her, but by bringing her to criminal justice for inciting rioting and insurrection.  Judicial Watch Tom Fitton has called on Congress to be investigated on what is clearly a violation of a House rule, but what about the video evidence of her inciting people to criminal activity?  Why has she simply not been removed from office over that and criminally charged?  Let’s turn this thing around on them, and We the People join together to seek indictments and criminal prosecutions of these corrupt politicians on both sides of the aisle!  Had we done this with the tyrant Abraham Lincoln, we would not have experienced the War of Northern Aggression, not faced the expansion of federal indoctrination, income taxes and a plethora of government overreach that enslaved the states since that time.

Of the 857 million guns owned by civilians, the Small Arms Survey says 393.3 million are held in the United States, which is “more than those held by civilians in the other top 25 countries combined.”

To clarify – there are more civilian-owned guns in the US than there are people.

The above quotation is pulled from a Zero Hedge article highlighting the results of a recent world gun survey. America officially has more guns than people and has for some time.

Over the last week, it has become more clear than ever that our political leaders are continuing to stoke the flames of division and might be pushing for us to use those guns on each other.

Whether it be their plan to do so, or their growing paranoia, every time a leader hints at violence or civil war — their followers listen!

Wednesday, Rush Limbaugh offered his opinion on the current landscape:

Rush Limbaugh warned on his radio show Wednesday that if the media continued to generate hysteria over the Trump administration’s border policy, “somebody’s gonna get killed.”

“Okay. Folks, I’m just gonna say it here. If the media keeps this up — if they keep up generating this hysteria — somebody’s gonna get killed. I think we’re pretty close to somebody getting killed already, and I’m not being hyperbolic, and I’m not trying to call attention to myself,” said Limbaugh.

I agree 100%. But does this do anything at all to calm the situation Rush? It makes me want to go buy more ammo. I am picking on Limbaugh here, though I have tremendous respect for his opinions. We need to see how the right and left feed off of each other and make these controversies snowball.

Saturday, Maxine Waters took a turn for the left. She claims that God is on their side, the side of the children and encouraged further harassment of Trump officials. Notice how worked up these Mad Max fans were at the rally. Waters may not be someone I agree with in principle, but she is quite charismatic in the eyes of her followers.

Sunday, Steve King bluntly summarized what is happening here. People like Limbaugh and Waters are, intentionally or not, working Americans to the point where many will be or already are willing to shoot each other.

Every time a political leader, pundit, or celebrity sows division it puts us closer to the reality of another American Civil War. Even small potatoes bloggers like myself are guilty of it, though we don’t normally reach the eyes and ears of millions.

The intentions of Limbaugh, Waters and King might be pure. Maybe they are simply calling things as they see them (yes, even when we disagree). Or maybe their intentions are slightly less selfless. Maybe they are just playing upon the necessary division that keeps their paychecks coming. It is important to note that without division among the ranks, divisive leaders would cease to keep power.

Let me side step for just a moment and tell you about one of my favorite movies. The movie is called “Miracle” and chronicles the amazing story of the underdog 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team. Much of the story focuses on how coach Herb Brooks made his players hate him, so that they would bond with each other. That team went on to shock the world and win a gold medal, despite lacking the experience and athleticism of their opponents.

The opposite seems to be true in American politics. We engage in hero worship with our favorite politicians and turn our hate toward fellow Americans. So when I hear messages of “they are wrong and we are right” I try to keep this in mind.

The ruling class wants nothing more than for you and I to hate each other over differences of opinion. When we hate each other, we become their pawns. We are the puppets. They are the puppet masters.

This is how they gain and keep power, by solidifying the hate in their own base toward the other side.

There are many in power who would like nothing more than for you and I to start shooting at each other. There are just as many who would love to call the UN in to take your guns.

It is clear that the 2nd Amendment is in trouble and that many within our government want to take our guns. Those 393 million guns pose a serious threat to their power. They would like nothing more than for the shooting to start, so long as we shoot each other and not them. so that they have an excuse to take those guns.

This is one of the reasons the 2nd Amendment was written, to give Americans the chance to defend themselves against a corrupt government should it become necessary to do so.

So the majority of us sit here and wait and we keep buying guns.

Why do we keep buying guns?

For many of us it is not the fact that we are eager to kill each other in another bloody civil war. It is simply a case of preparing for the “what if” situations.

What if this political pissing match turns into another American Civil War?

Are you ready to shoot and kill fellow Americans if that happens?

No matter what they say, nothing would make some in The District of Corruption happier.

I am personally ready to defend myself should things go in that direction. But at the same time, I am not ready to get involved in this game of hating my fellow Americans that I am being asked to play.

Such things are deserving of your reflection because we are obviously being pushed in that direction.

How do you feel?
