Winchester Awarded U.S. Army Pistol Ammo Contract Worth Up To $145M
Winchester has been awarded a significant contract from U.S. Army Contracting Command for pistol ammunition to be manufactured at Winchester’s facilities in Oxford, Mississippi, and East Alton, Illinois. The contract specifies .38 caliber, .45 caliber and 9 mm ammunition and boasts a potential value of $145 million.
Winchester is the largest supplier of small-caliber ammunition to the U.S. military. This five-year contract award maintains Winchester’s position as the leading vendor of pistol ammunition to the military.
