Bill Sponsor, Representative Jeremy Haroldson (R – Wheatland), and other Second Amendment supporters, successfully fought off weakening amendments to the bill brought by Representatives Sandy Newsome (R – Cody) and David Northrup (R – Powell).
A second Bill (SF0105), sponsored by Senator Dan Laursen (R – Powell), would supposedly protect your firearms privacy and will get a vote in the Senate on Monday.
Sadly, SF0105 includes a very weak, almost-nonexistent penalty, to protect your Rights from infringement, and this Bill must be amended.

The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution makes no exceptions for feelings or emotions. Our Rights are not up for debate.
Wyoming’s Second Amendment Protection Act, passed in 2022, already has a criminal penalty, and SF0105 can be easily tied to this existing statute.
