Kimber introduced its pocketable 1911-style .380 ACP Micro in 2013 and then upgunned the design in 2016 to chamber the far more capable 9 mm Luger, and the manufacturer has added nearly two dozen variants to the Micro 9 series since that time.

New for 2022 are four more options, including the ESV Two Tone (MC)(TP), a model that ships from Kimber with a mini compensator installed to its 5/8×24 TPI threaded muzzle, significantly reducing the lightweight subcompact pistol’s felt recoil and muzzle rise.

A single-action, hammer-fired semi-automatic that measures only 7.1″ in length and 4.05″ in height, the 19-oz. pistol also features a set of Truglo Tritium Pro night sights atop its lightening-cut slide and wraparound black rubber stocks from Hogue.
