Editor’s Choice: ATN X-Sight 5
ATN used SHOT Show 2023 as an opportunity to unveil both the fifth generation of its digital-night-vision technology and the first of the company’s new products to put it to use—the day/night-capable X-Sight 5.
The company’s most advanced optic to date, the X-Sight 5 boasts a 4K+ 4056×3040-pixel image sensor that offers nearly 4 million more pixels than its Gen 4 3864×2218-pixel sensor, which, when paired with its 1280×960-pixel display screen, results in an ultra-high-resolution image with striking day-time colors and sharp nighttime tones. Four models are available at launch, with MSRPs starting as low as $795: two 3-15X optics, with (shown) or without an integral laser rangefinder, and two higher-magnification 5-25X units, again with the rangefinder as an option.
Features present across the line include an advanced ballistic calculator, custom reticles, an electronic compass, a 3D gyroscope, a one-shot zero system and the ability to record in 4K. For more information, visit atncorp.com.
