Editor’s Choice: Kel-Tec P15
KelTec calls its new P15 pistol the “lightest, thinnest handgun” of its kind on the market. The company marks 30 years in business in 2022 with the P15 as its first striker-fired handgun.
Chambered in 9 mm Luger, the P15 features a polymer frame and capacity for 15 rounds in its patent-pending magazine design. The gun measures only 0.875″ wide according to company specs and, unloaded, weighs just 14 ozs. The gun’s controls include a slide-stop lever on the left side of the frame and a reversible magazine-release button. The frame also features a grip safety located just under the beavertail; there is no manual safety or trigger-blade safety included.
A fiber-optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight top the hybrid steel-and-polymer slide, which also includes serrations fore and aft. A single-slot Picatinny rail on the frame provides room for accessories. For more, please visit keltecweapons.com.
