Winchester Repeating Arms has given southpaw wingshooters reason to rejoice, as, for the first time ever, the company is now producing left-ejecting versions of its 12-ga. Super X4 semi-automatic shotgun.

Featuring the same self-regulating Active Valve Gas System as its right-hand brethren, the SX4 Left Hand can reliably cycle a broad spectrum of shells—from light 2¾” target loads to the heaviest magnums—with excess gases being directed forward through Quadra-Vent ports in the fore-end. Winchester is offering the SX4 Left Hand in five different versions, each of which is available with either a 3″ or 3½” chamber and with either a 26″ or 28″ barrel.

The standard model comes with black composite furniture, while the Field model’s buttstock and fore-end are oil-finished Turkish walnut, and the SX4 Left Hand Waterfowl Hunter is finished with a full-coverage camouflage pattern in either Mossy Oak Shadow Grass Habitat, Mossy Oak Bottomland or Realtree Max-7.
