A good OWB (outside-the-waistband) can be an effective way to carry a defensive firearm with every day. While they may require a bulkier cover garment than their IWB (inside-the-waistband) cousins, they also require fewer changes and can give you a more-secure grip as you draw your pistol.

The new 2.0 version of Galco‘s popular OWB Concealable holster is built on over four decades of success with the original version. The Concealable 2.0 is updated and improved to meet the needs of 21st century gun carriers. The holster is cut low at the front to accommodate most popular pistol-mounted red dot optics. The raised sweat guard on the side protects the wearer’s body from the pistol as well as protecting the pistol from the body’s natural perspiration. A mild butt-forward cant offers an easy draw when carrying the pistol at a behind the hip position while also enhancing concealment with larger defensive pistols.

The Concealable 2.0’s unique two-piece construction is contoured on the body side to follow the natural curve of the hip. This keeps all the molding on the front of the holster, allowing for significantly more comfortable carry and a narrower profile than an ordinary pancake type holster. This makes for comfortable all day long carry as well as a lower profile that enhances your ability to keep your gun away from prying eyes.

The Concealable 2.0 is hand-molded to fit specific handguns and features a deeply hand-molded exterior for excellent retention properties and superior appearance, firing grip accessibility for speed, and double-stitched seams for long-lasting durability.

Currently available for 1911s, Glocks and SIGs with or without red dot sights, the holster is constructed of premium steerhide in black or tan, and made to fit belts up to 1 1/2 inches wide.

MSRP for the Concealable 2.0 holster is $159.00, and more information on this item as well as other products from Galco is available at galcogunleather.com.
