ZeroTech Optics announced a new line of hunting scopes for rifle shooters. These new scopes are aimed at hunters, but they can be used by anyone needing some long-range glass. Called the LR Hunter, the new scopes are a new line that features two models in the initial introduction: a 4-16×44 and a 6-24×50. With up to 24x of magnification, these rifle scopes might be of interest to shooters of any discipline where long ranges are a factor.

These scopes use a first focal plane LR Hunter reticle that is described as a “do it all” type of reticle. The company describes the reticle as offering a high degree of precision at the top of the magnification range while the lower levels of zoom are more akin to traditional reticles found in hunting scopes. ZeroTech Optics LR Hunter rifle scopes use etched reticles that are illuminated in red. The company opted to use 30mm tubes on both optics. The turrets are capped and offer adjustments as fine as 0.1 MRAD.

The glass lens uses a Weathershield coating to reduce fogging and other weather effects to optical clarity when shooting in the field. Both the 4-16×44 and 6-24×50 scopes offer 92% light transmission through the glass. Included with each of the scopes in the LR Hunter line are a pair of HD alloy covers that quickly flip up when you are ready to shoot.

The company offers what they call a “Triple A Lifetime Warranty” on these scopes. The warranty covers the product for life – regardless of owner or problem. If fact, the company goes as far as to say the warranty offers “unconditional lifetime replacement or repair…regardless of the fault or reason.” The warranty is fully transferable and no paperwork is required.
